I was reading something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective on it is diametrically contradicted to what I read earlier. I am still pondering over the opposite points of view, but I’m tipped heavily toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so good about modern-day democracy and the marketplace of thoughts online.

Animal mistreatment has forever bothered me. It looks like it is becoming worse, at least where I live. But there are nevertheless generous individuals out there who feel like I do that we must take care of them. I hope the judicial system will catch up with our way of believing about this. It is still handled as a comparatively minor criminal offense. That’s wrong.
